slimmer

i have done what you said but when i get to the screen that says touch the voice language mine does not have this on the screen (page 17 of the nav manual) it only has the voice add name option. it says that the voice lanuage is onle available on the extended voice option and not the basic voice so does this mean i cannot change the voice, and have i only got the basic on my se version.

the system reconizes the phone command as i have got phone kit bluetooth, and will dial a number i request no problem but this is all it will do.GOD I'M FRUSTRATED GOOD JOB IVE GOT SOME STELLA IN THE FRIDGE Shocked Shocked

Shawn, this is what I get

Press hard right nav button for this screen

Press Settings for this screen

Press Language for this one

Go back one and press Voice Settings for this one

Press Voice Language for this one

But by the sounds of it you don't get all those options though?

Hmmm, Right, I've got the full blown satnav with off-road nav and 4x4 info but I would have thought the voice language should be available on both versions

Can anyone else out there with it fitted advise us what satnav version (Standard or Advanced) they have and if they have the voice language option or not?

Si

Guys,

Mine is the advanced version on the HSE.

I do have the voice options on mine.

Out of interest though I was sure I did used to have an option of English Female, not just the yankee ones!!

Now al I have got is the very posh english gent speaking!!

This only seems to be since the software update yesterday.

Get down to the dealer and tell them you want your woman back!
Check it isn't on US Male, I seem to remember he was a rather well spoken chap, not American at all really.

I am going ther to day to get my locking wheel key back.

I will ask them to look around the workshop to see where my english lady is hiding.

Perhasp I will find her in the toilets powdering her nose!!!

And no its not on US Male, I checked that.

The background colour of the screen had also been changed to colour set 1, I think, I like it in grey, so had to change it back.
