Hi all. Almost two years ago I mentioned about a vibration caused by the gearbox. Changing the oil and filter and installing a metal sump solved the problem temporarily as it seems. Recently I serviced the transfer case and the diffs, shortly after that the vibration is back. When I drive the D4 in D mode at 60 kmph or 100 kmph it vibrates and I notice the surging. However, as soon as I put the sports mode on, it reduces the gear and vibration goes away. I am convinced that there is something wrong with the gearbox or the torque converter if not both. My D4 is Auto and it has 314k km on it.
Is there anyway I can diagnose the actual problem as there isn't an error code?
What is the best approach to sort out the gearbox? I am based in Bulgaria and unfortunately there aren't any auto gearbox specialists around here.
Any commends will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
