No software updates done.

Oh and it’s not cornering flatter. Seems the fiver I slipped over the service desk wasn’t sufficient to tempt them into doing a body swap onto a D4 chassis. Big Cry

I think the choppiness I was experiencing was more to do with constant minor adjustments in direction. It was getting to the point where I was starting to feel car sick while in the driver’s seat!

I did get them to swap the wheels front to rear while they had them off to do the brakes, so that may have also helped. I’m under the car at the weekend fitting a shiny new compressor cover from…… Martin! Put that cattle prod down! Shocked so will take the opportunity to have a look to see if there was any wear indicative of a tracking issue on any of the tyres. They’re all still showing 8mm/8mm/8mm across the width, so any wear is going to be tearing/crumbling/castellation rather than any distinct difference in tread depth.
I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

OK...cheers Al Thumbs Up

I've been hooning the D3 around on the way home - in the same places that it normally makes me feel all "rolly polly" and it feels like a different car.....slight body roll, but seems to be nothing like what it has been like for the last year or so.

I'm still convinced that this is all in my head and won't be convinced until I wait a week, then downgrade the software to the old one and try it again to see if it instantly gets worse.

I sense a forthcoming stampede of D3's heading for dealers asking for suspension software upgrades Laughing

none were due on my 2008.... but then I seem to remember there was a suspension flash done not long after I got it.
