v8 economy
Had a trip to Essex to see family and was impressed to see this on the trip, probably 1-2 mpg out but still ok and the new arb made the journey much more enjoyable.

I would do it brim to brim, mine doesn't even get close to that sitting 60mph on the motorway, think the official figures are 23 - 18 - 13.
External temp seems high too was it really 70 down south today.==================================

Excellent - I took mine out this afternoon, first time in 3 weeks and on a 20mile stop start B road journey it showed 17 mpg on the dash. I did have SWMBO and daughter in the car, so we were just taking it easy.

I had parked it in direct sun in a car park in Essex, this was Saturday afternoon, it was quite warm! I thought it was maybe 2 or maybe 3 mpg out but to be honest I stayed at under 65 and it was a very smooth journey considering some of the trip was on the M25!54 disco 3 4.4 v8 now gone

I saw 26.2mpg on mine when I first had it. Now on ATRs so 25mpg is the best I've seen on the dash. Some roads are better than others. A trip to Cornwall and I was stuck at 22mpg.

I get 50mpg from my TDi Skoda snooze-mobile but I am in serious risk from dying of boredom so cannot wait to buy a 4.4 disco, plus I won't be killing off baby seals and the ozone layer every time I fill up on diesel

My girls D3 V8 in California gets us up to Max of 26 MPG on highway with Cruise Control on 70-75mph. When the temp outside is about 70-75F and no wind.
My D3 V8 in NYC on highway gets me Max 23mpg on highway with Cruise Control on at 65mph. If I go faster then 65 the mpg will drop. (getting a BG cleaning done this month).

Is that US MPG? If so even your 23 is equivalent to UK 28mpg!==================================

I like filling station coffee, that and the cheery demeanour of the attendants especially on nights I'd love a TDV6 but am concerned about the governments alleged £10/day levy on diesel engined vehicles, but I suppose a 4.4 V8 petrol wouldn't be treated any fairer!! I'm so confused

9 is terrible! In bad NYC traffic Worst I get is about 11mpg. Try using the Eco on the heater.
