I thought it was a red light that flashed but it’s a few years since I used one.
Darrin you will be surprised the distance the remote will transmit
On mine, Green to start it, rhythmic green when it’s running, press Off and it turns red.

Thought so, you have got an Eberspacher type remote not a Webasto remote.
If it was sold to you as a Webasto or D4 compatible remote (i.e. on ebay), send it back!
You need a Webasto T91 type remote with "ON" and "OFF" buttons not the T91R remote with heat/OFF buttons.
So if I got a LR036696 (T91R) would the remote with the heat symbol (touted on eBay as a LR027493 as well) rather than "on" work?
It's all very confusing, as the LR036695 is the T91 and uses the "on" / "off" buttons. But photos of kits/items for sale on here and ebay and Google show the T91R with a fob with "on" / "off" buttons not the "heat"/"off"

I've not tested the Heat/Off remote with a T91 or T91R with the On/Off.
If anyone has a T91R Heat/Off remote they want to lend me for a quick test 06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti

Sure, but he doesn't say if he has the T90, T91 or the T91R.
I will prob get the LR one but I am curious as to if the heat button one doesn't work with the later T91R - why is that if the LR one works with all three. In today's world, if you contribute something, you don't contribute enough. If you contribute nothing, you receive everything.
