A quick question:
Can anybody confirm that the hole in wheel rim is the same size for both conventional and TPMS valves (i.e. they're interchangeable)?
Thank you.

If you are buying TPMS valves be very careful to get genuine JLR TPMS valves as there are very many counterfeit valves on sale which are difficult, or in some cases, impossible to pair to the car.

Thanks for the replies. Potentially ditching TPMS valve for conventional!

You need to be careful; there could be MoT issues; & I believe (subject to correction) that there will be if there is a TPMS error message.

Vehicle hasn't got TPMS but I'm after a additional wheel for it. Needed to know if one with a TPMS valve would accept a normal valve.

Yes it will. All genuine LR alloys will accept both normal and TPMS valves. 👍 2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE
