Transmission backlash
I have read on some test reports that if the LR3 is slowed almost to standstill and then accelerated there is some clonking (sorry its not a very technical term, but hope you know what I mean) due to backlash in the transmission. Is this something that owners here suffer with?
It is a problem some of the earlier models (such as mine) had. It has been fixed by a software update that has been out for some time now.
I don't know if it was just the gasoline V8 models, or if the TDV6 also had this issue.2005 LR3 HSE - ARB Bumper, Warn XD9000, Custom Rock Sliders and Skid Plates, BBS Faultmate MSV-2 Extreme, Kenwood TMD-700, etc, etc,
