4 wheel alignment M3/M25 neighbourhood?
I've got my front near side tyre wearing on the edge and at a greater rate than the others. I had suspension work done earlier this year with a new set of General Grabbers.
I need a specialist within striking distance of Lightwater who could do the honours and possibly carry out wheel alignment properly. Any recommendations?

Went to Micheldever Tyres for the first and last time.
Despite booking a fixed appointment ('allow about an hour for the work, sir') and arriving in good time, the car went in almost 45 mins later as 'appointment' means joining the back of a queue. It was passed through at least four different mechanics, none of whom seemed to be passing on what was required.
I finally got it back almost three hours later, five adjustments to front/rear toe and camber - how long should that take? What a shambles. The only excuse proferred by the last guy was 'Well it takes time to set up, mate'.
I'll go elsewhere next time (not a pop at jonnychainsaw's recommendation as the tyre service side of the house seemed to flow ok for other customers - I had time to watch what else was going on)

Sorry to hear of your experience, either I was lucky or you were unlucky. It was a couple of years ago when I last went there, I have now found a place closer to me with Hunter equipment. Perhaps Micheldever are getting too big and busy to provide a good service. I will bear your comments in mind if I recommend them again

Ambassador are close to you - they did my car following suspension replacement all in for 85.00 using Hunter laser alignment and supply of tea whilst I waited - very professional outfit.
They restore a lot of really nice cars and use the alignment following resto or repairs.
I found them on Alignmycar.co.uk

Thanks for that. Micheldever took me for £176 (did include wheel rotation and balancing in addition to the work I listed above), so the Woking outfit have been bookmarked for the future
