Wheels collected from Birmingham?
In the (seemingly) never ending quest for a decent set of D4 wheels, I may have now found a set. Only issue is the guy does not want to courier them to me
Don't want to put his postcode up on a public forum, but he appears to live near the Handsworth area, just off Soho Road.
Is there anyone local to this guy, who is able to inspect and collect these for me? Can sort out a way to get them up the road at a later date My D3 Build Thread

And I will be driving home from Newbury on Thursday past Birmingham but maybe that's not enough time for someone to get a look at the wheels and store the for 24 hours?

All communications have broken down with the seller
I've always found you very personable Mike, but clearly you are at an expert at annoying folk selling wheels "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to speak out and remove all doubt" ?.....what rubbish...

So it would seem
Nobody up this way is selling any wheels, and when they do, they want ridiculous money for them.
But every set of wheels that are priced right, are collection only, and the seller is a bellend when it comes to payment or collectionMy D3 Build Thread

I bet its so he doesnt get paypal fees which you can avoid by sending it as a gift or thru bacs.
And then bet he sneakily cancels the transaction as well to get his ebay fee's refunded... Sneaky sausages FFRR Owner, very nearly became a D3 owner

I suspect so too. However, I will not be paying £300 cash for anything that I can't physically check over myself, to someone I don't trust. Paypal is different, as you are semi-protectedMy D3 Build Thread
