Mud flaps riped off

It's why I now have mine fitted using plastic plugs instead of bolts to allow them to come off and be refitted easily, see picture below...

I've managed to pull mine off once or twice by reversing in deep sand/snow/mud resulting with them being pushed hard against the tyre and effectively being driven over. But this looks like something pushed lightly against them, just enough to touch the tyre and allow it to pick it up and fold it over; once there it needs to be manually released. Tall grass could potentially have done it, did you reverse in any? Or some little oik could have folded them over whilst you were parked up Evil or Very Mad



The other option is to tied them back to stop them being push forwards by an obstruction. seen that done on some desert ralley vehicles.

Measured drop from the lowest part of the sills to the bottom edge of the flaps are 90mm at the front and 170mm at the rear Thumbs Up
Pretty heavy duty I would say
