235/70/17 or 235/65/17....?
I bought the car with the 70s on and understand this is what the 17 inch wheels came with fro the factory.
I bought some wheels on here a while back to put some AT2s on for a winter second set. When I got the wheels they came with wranglers on that were 65s with loads of tread and now I need to change my 70s and am wondering if I can save the cash and use these 65s.
From blogs I have read in some parts of the world the D3 comes with 65s on from factory but not here so I want to know if I can use the 65s without worrying about technical bits going wrong and getting confused......or breaking.
Thanks

235/70R17 lower profile might be good as long as load index is at 111 or over

mentioned number 65 is the tyre profile
I guess you can as long as mentioned load index is 111 or more on the boots you find
hope it helps

Might have a slight effect on speedo accuracy, but not by much I wouldn't have thought.

the speedo difference would be -3.1% which translates to 1.9 miles per hour difference
I have had quick look but most boots at 235/65 come with load index at 104-108 so not enough for D3
