I'm not sure where you can get one over the counter, but I just googled Cadac spares and found somewhere to get a new grill mesh from. Ordered, on line, delivered in 2 days.

Hi Andy,
Don't know if you have sorted this now, but you won't get anything like that from Pentewan itself... and I don't think there is anywhere that springs to mind in Mevagissey, but... if you head back out of pentewan towards St Austell, before you get to London Apprentice there is a place called 'Mount Caravans'. Its on the right as you head out towards St Austell. They may be able to help you or point you in the right direction.
Other thought is that there is a hardware / camping type shop in the indoor market in St Austell. They sell all sorts of bits and pieces and you may fall lucky.
Having typed all that, I would imagine Rich has sorted you and got it posted out already
Chris.

I'm glad you got the BBQ sorted Andy and hopefully you will have plenty of sunny days to use it. It was good to meet you briefly at Pentewan, we had a great 2 weeks but sadly returned home yesterday . We've booked 2 weeks again next summer though . Hopefully we will get a front pitch again...... 8)

Well,
we are now back from pentewan, had a great couple of weeks just a little rain on a couple of days really, it was quite bad on the first weekend , mrs sisters tent had a river flowing through it, they didnt buy one with built in groundsheet and it was there first time camping, lesson learnt there.
was a pleasure to meet somerset jem too, saw the sticker from afar as i aproached the shop. nice looking D3,
after my new cadac barbi fiasco i eventually sorted it, (and also found the missing tail at home in the kitchen drawer, where else would it be, i blame the mrs for putting it there)
anyway really impressed with it cooks brekky for 14 no probs and the flat sided skillet thingy it comes with it perfect for frying in,
decided i need a bigger sattelite dish had a mare trying to get it tuned, got strong signal on meter but could only get french tv, eventually stumbled on the right settings,
any way enjoyed the break all 5 kids did too, off to beverly park in paignton in october for a week so, looking forward to that too.

There is no "O" ring on the coupling for the cadac, just finger tight and then one flat face of the nut. Don't over tighten it.
