Sat nav drive died

Currently on holiday in France and my screen is reading "Navigation not installed". I've hard reset the car, cleared all fault codes. Also removed all the connections and remade but still no joy.

Looks like drive is dead as it wont even eject the disc.

Andy ideas?

Cheers,
 Andy

Mine did this - bought one off eBay to replace it.

Sorry that's not much help to you there though Sad

Ah hang on (reading your post) - "navigation not installed" sounds like a comms error between the screen and the nav computer Confused

lack of eject suggests fuse or power/cable, maybe?

Happy to report back new sat nav unit not required. Piggy back fuse had caused the problem in the infotainment feed. Removing and replacing the holder got everything working again (fuse was fine).

Didn't check initially as the sat nav screen was still working ok (it's on the same fuse) but when I checked the infotainment feed it was only showing 3.5v.

Thumbs Up
 Andy
