Dashmount bracket - which holder?
I've decided to get one of these dashmount brackets, however I'm not sure what holder to get (and how it'll be attached to the bracket). I want a universal holder as it'll be used to hold an Ipod or an Iphone.
Can anyone recommend a decent holder?

Brodit
You can get left or right hand and they come with 3m tape and clip on the relevant side of the 'H' frame in a similar position to where yours is in your pic

Fact is that the Brodit phone mount is designed for their own brackets - it may need modifying a bit to fix to that bracket in the picture, but can't see any major issues if you wanted to do that. 4 small bolts should do the job.
If it's a Brodit bracket, the phone holder is attached with 4 small self tappers.
You'll need to check that the holder you choose can adjust enough to hold an iPod or iPhone; they're quite different thicknesses as you probably know.____

A1GSS , yes I should have said that the bracket I mentioned is just the main bracket, you then have to buy the specific holder for the item, I have 1 each side of the 'H' frame for my TOMTOM and iPhone. they do not impede the removal of the frame.

Brodit and Wood grain panels
Need a bit of advice.
So I am looking at a mount slightly better than the naff one I have that sits over the airvent and the advice here is always go with Brodit, it looks ok, personally looks like it might sit a little low down, I do like it up near the airvent to view it but away, question is Brodit say not with the wood grain panels. I have a HSE that looks very much like a very fake wood effect, does that mean it won't fit?
Any views on this?
Thanks
