Raspberry Pi and SLT-TP05 USB->Touchscreen controller

Has anyone (wiggs???) paired a Pi with this touchscreen controller successfully?

Their site suggests there are Linux drivers...

Have on sitting on the workbench and thinking of making a Pi carputer which feeds off the OEM screen as in this mod...

Thoughts?
