Scotland 2006 Discovery 3 TDV6 HSE Manual Java BlackDiscovery 3

hi guys,

thanks once more

for the advice, tried again today (still from above) and am definitely getting closer, I think I managed to feel something move, but damned if I could hook whatever I'd pushed back out again.

I'll attempt through the wheerl arch over the weekend once I get hold of a decent jack and some axle stands otherwise I have no doubt I'll find myself stuck under the thing.............lol!

Meanwhile cramming up on all the other little D3"foibles" that we know and love so much!

Cheers,

Ken

You can get in the through the wheel arch with the wheel still on, turn hard right and with a bit of perseverance it's quite do-able.

Scotland 2016 Discovery 4 3.0 SDV6 Landmark LE Auto Yulong WhiteDiscovery 4

33k later and it's bonged back up.

Codes were showing up MAP and the actuator again.

Have given the rod a free up and grease but I'm not happy with how free I got it.
Going to check MAP as well later.

Not bad for a diy fix, hopefully I can free it off again properly later.
 In loving memory of FA54WSK.

Rest well old friend, your work is done.
