Very easy even I did it in ten minutes or so, The connector is there waiting, when you lift the lid there is a switch at the front, it illuminates when on, if it is a newer fridge going in a D3 then be aware that if you leave it on overnight or possibly 2 days you WILL have a flat battery, happened to me last week. I got something out and inadvertently switched the fridge switch on, so be careful
