|
Hi,
I thought about buying one of these: http://www.tyrepal.co.uk/
Does anyone have any experience of it or similar devices?

Works well for me as well, but only when the vehicle is stationary and I'm looking at it from the outside. Not so efficient when I'm driving!
I've had a couple of tyres blow out on the motorway (not on a Disco). Once from hitting a pot hole in lane 1, with a 35 profile tyre and once from picking up a nail in the tread. I've been thinking about a warning system for years, but what puts me off with the TP system is that the valve caps must be vulnerable to theft?

Discotres if you don't want it I will have it. If you give it me for free it might cure you the next time something comes along. It would be good therapy.
