Questions about 2006 SE spec |

Help!
Can any owners of 2006 MY SE please answer the following:
How many speakers should be in the front doors?
Are fake wood end caps standard or options?
Thanks Long succession of Disco's since 2001...
SIII Lightweight - neglected & rusting. Bulkhead, A panels, vent panel & outriggers now disintegrated - Next years project!

Stereo should be the same as your old car and wood was always an extra.

Only 1 speaker in front door...which I too found odd. Waiting for the time to upgrade and retrofit further ones in that space as the pattern is on the rear of the door liner, I think
No fake wood on mine mate

Thanks folks, It's hard to get detailed spec info from l/r!
The website currently says the SE has the 14 spkr setup, so I guess thats 07 MY.
My new one arrived with wrong colour interior - s'posed to be alpaca, came as ebony with fake wood end caps (after all I said about wood a couple of days ago )
Dealer is offering to replace with a new 07MY with alpaca interior in 3 mths time (del period) at no charge. Should I accept?? Long succession of Disco's since 2001...

I think my reply went something along the lines of
"have you noticed that you no longer have a right hand?"
When all is resolved I'll sing the praises of the fantastic dealer in question! Long succession of Disco's since 2001...

If you fit decent speakers instead you do not need an upper mid range one. (ther isn't much depth for one anyway)

Curse you Caver! I was hoping to avoid the hifi upgrade demons on this car! I must be strong, I must be strong..... I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

You probably have the premium system in the U.K. here the standard with the SE is the base head unit and speakers. which sounds cr p.
But it is fun playing. “There are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering; all the rest are merely gamesâ€
