Off Roading (nr Kemble)

Does anyone know where I can pick up the off road route that starts near Kemble Airfield?

Had a good drive around the other day but couldn't find anything!

From Cirencester head towards kemble down the a429. Go past the entrance and keep going until you come to a small cross roads at the bottom of a slight hill with an industrial estate on the right. Take that right and a few hundred yards on the left is a big opening and the Fosseway starts there and goes all the way to the M4 pretty much. One section at Easton Grey is shut, but the rest is open. Mostly hard track and pretty dull. There is a small ford just outside brokenborough though.

Thanks tcr

Think I found it recently and you're right...pretty dull.

I did venture out to try the Leckhampton-Shurdington lane but SWMBO bottled it after a couple of hundred yards. To be fair, I'd only had the car a few weeks so she was probably right!

One day, in the not too distant future, when I have a weekend free from DIY in the new house, I'd like a day out there too.

Fingers crossed.

Nothing to worry about on that one, it doesn't get much worse bar a big hole near the bottom.

There is another nice one going from Edgeworth to Battlescombe near stroud. Quite bumpy and a bit overgrown, but a fun lane.

And here is greenway lane in Leckhampton
