First time waved at
I was driving down the A55, North Wales Coast Road, yesterday and I spotted a Silver D3 with a Roof Box going in the other direct (out of Wales).
As usual I across the dual-carriageway at them (not being one to wave frantically whilst driving) and got a from the driver, which I returned
Cheered me up no end as I wasn't impressed at having to drive a short notice 250 mile round trip from Manchester to fix a non-flushing toilet, just because we couldn't get a plumber in the area to come & sort the problem. I've given up waving, no one ever waves back The End

I don't wave either, just smile or maybe nod, but he gave a wave so I returned the acknowledgement. Coffeecup March 2005 TDV6 S - Tonga Green - Manual May 2008 TDV6 SE - Stornoway Grey - Auto Dec 2010 SDV6 XS - Galway Green - Auto

Would that be with 2 fingers 2004 Discovery 3 - gone
2006 Discovery 3 - gone
2008 Discovery 3 GS - gone
2011 Freelander LE Special Edition - gone
2007 Discovery 3 XS - gone
2012 Discovery 4 GS - current
Agreed. How about the reversal of the VW wave (little finger and thumb extended, other fingers closed) = three middle fingers up and little finger and thumb closed?
Expect I'll be trying to spot Dom and Winger now...Time flies like an arrow; fruit flies like a banana
I was thinking more of the royal wave we practiced at Rockingham
Remember it well The End

Only time a Land Rover driver went out of their way to way at me was a series 2 Disco driver... one of the old school no doubt.
Oh well... on the 18th we can wave at each other all day and not feel too nerdy eh ?

V8 or TDV6 ?
Only RRS to have is the V8 else there's no point in it... may as well get a TDV6 DISCO3 instead.
