Just seen this on the five latest petitions on the No 10 web site:
"Ban 4x4 vehicles from the outside lane of 3 lane+ motorways
4x4's are very heavy vehicles with poor fuel consumption rates and high pollution figures. They are usually driven at high speeds, well in excess of the national maximum, often in the outside lane of the motorway. These vehicles are usually driven very aggresively, coming up very fast and close to the vehicle in front, and often with headlights on. The lights are high compared to normal cars and help to cause fear in many divers. The very heavy weight compared to normal cars increases the stopping distance and also increases the likelyhood of serious damage or injuries if involved in a high speed accident."
Well if they do that 7Tons will have to be band to.Home of RLD Hidden winch mounts Spare wheel Locks Trailer Body Fabrication [email protected] D3/4 sump plates MY 14 sump plates and the Discovery Sport wheel protectors Discovery 5 wheel locks

I think I'll set up a No. 10 petition insisting all people in the realm wear identical suits, grey, collarless, & that haircuts should be identical too. Then everyone has to read a little red book & sing praises to the leader on the hour every day ...

That's AndrewS to blame for that all that 'extreme wading' in Strata Florida
Maybe we should start a 'force BMW / Mercedes / Mundane-o drivers to have compulsory learn-how-to-use-your-indicators lessons'?

The ignorance of these muppets is frightening. How do you define a 4X4? Is a Lamborghini the same as a Defender? Is a Subaru the same as FFRR? Does a Jimny weigh as much as a Hummer H1? Is a Transit safer than a RRS?
In the hail storm we've just had down here, the D3 with it's weight & 4X4 providing excellent traction, would have been much safer than many other cars.

A more obvious case of the politics of envy I'd struggle to find. I bet this turgid individual is the kind of knobber who repeatedly gets turned down for promotion and sits in the outside lane of every motorway at 65 in his Focus TDi, two inches from the 4-mile long line of mexican-wave braking beemers in front of him/her.
Let's hope their nylon underwear raises the temperature of their reproductive organs to the point where they are no longer capable of breeding .I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

David (narrow minded tosser) Cunningham has signed it, how about a few of us signing it with equally comic names, prehaps even in some sort of order.
