BBDisco I was pretty aggrieved at your suggestion that I was offering misleading and inaccurate advice...and I changed my last post later because I could only envisage that you had somehow misunderstood the context of my post as actually referring to what the insurer would say.

I think if you go back through all of the friendly advice I have given over the last 6 years related to insurance I have always recommended that people should put any change to their vehicle through their insurer....and my posts here do not deviate from that. I was merely trying to point out that they will say yes or no...but that most will say yes for OEM items Thumbs Up
