Thirsk / Sutton Bank

Heading up to the gliding club this weekend, weather permitting

Heard of a BOAT nearby was wondering if is drivable and as scratch free as possible

Anyone know of it? From Shaw's Gate and down the brown line, hell hole, sounds likes its for tricked out 4x4 the website says its a BOAT current

No, I wouldn't touch it, never have, never would - it is a leafy grass lane but with some sump scraping rocks.
Plus the congregation from the little chapel will be out at you with their walking sticks.

Best go down High Town Bank Road ( track ).

Thumbs Up

Or pop up to Rudland Rigg ( if you haven't done that) for a long drive over the top.
And take in Inglby bank if you fancy a tricky ascent/ descent.
If not, just do it as a 'there n back'.
