Hi all,
I've been on a few Land Rover Experiences over the last 4 / 5 years.
Eastnor, true home of the Experience, did a level 1 and also a drive your own day in a Defender, what a superb venue.
Skipton, another Great venue, I enjoyed the trip very much. Highly recommended.
Peckforton Castle, incredible, loved it. All offer fantastic environment for Land Rovers.
I went to Peckforton and took out a D4, you can learn a huge amount about your vehicle that isn't in the handbook, it doesn't half build your confidence and trust in Land Rover as a Product and a Company.
The down side, as far as I'm aware, you can only book one free experience a year, but to pay for one of the training days and specify your preferred vehicle is worth every penny. I look at it as an investment in understanding and looking after my D3 and getting the most out of its capabilities.

Did you have to pay for the experience day or was it free if you're limited to one a year?

System has recently changed. Now f you buy a new LR you will get an invite from LR for a free 1/2 day Experience. Buy more than one LR year and you'll get more than one invite.
There is no limit to the number of paid for sessions you can book.

Was at Peckforton last week in the new FFRR. Must say it is a truly fabulous car. Also LR have been developing the site and the new bit is fantastic. They also mentioned about introducing "drive your own" events

I had the chance to visit Peckforton castle two weeks back. What a great location and great instructors. My first time, and was really surprised what my D4 can do. Hey, I even had the pleasure of having blinky run up my arm.
