But I still do not think they have the flange necessary to be hubcentric and I do not think they will allow the recommended 9 turns of the wheels nuts -sorry to be pessimistic

I think they are hub centric.
from the ebay add............
"Each high grade corrosion resistant aluminum spacer is precision built to be both hub and wheel centric, ensuring a perfect fit and flawless operation. Available in a variety of sizes and fitments, TRACER is sure to have the perfect finishing touch to your wheel fitment upgrade. "
Will just have to live with the fact the bolts are shorter, its not like the wheels will come flying off.

Fendy, I hope you are correct and if you are I will buy some and save a lot of money, but it seems to me and others that 3mm spacers are too slim to be able to have the centre flange necessary to make them hubcentric and I cannot see one in the pics. I nearly bought exactly those spacers for my wheels (like yours) that I was so keen to use . . . . However, if you look at JDB's posts you will see he has these wheels and spacers and has just done 2,500 miles in Morocco and half those off road without problems so I can see there are two sides to the story.

Has anyone come across a spigot ring that will solve the hubcentric issue - so these ffrr wheels when spaced out 3mm still fit snug onto the hub?

Just an update on this.
Fitted 3mm spacers to the front today, they are perfect fit and hubcentric. The wheel still catches the spigot and the bolts have plenty thread left on them even with 3mm.
So these wheels fit no problem with 3mm spacers on the front.

Been running these for offroad work since the begining of the year, 3mm spacer fitted on the front and as stated the wheels still sit on the spigot. 5mm spacers proved just too much. The first photo confirms the load rating is 940kg.
Fitted this way I have had no problems with balance or the nuts loosening even when used in anger during setup of the BCCC and the SCCC.

Fitting V8 caliper carriers and disks will cure the problem and give better braking, my next mod when I've located some carriers. It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

M3DPO - that sounds like a cracking idea so I can get rid of the spacers. Just fitted mine this last weekend and they look great - much better than the 18's. The ride is a little firmer of course but I also think the steering is a bit heavier and different? Is that likely to be the spacers does anyone know?

Disco 4 wheels on a disco3
Please can some one end my dilemma.
Fitted set of mk 4 disco wheels to my lady .. they look fine but i picked up a whine ( not the wife )
Subseqently have changed everything on the front end , Ujs, brake rotors , and lower swing arms ,,
guess what the noise is still there !!!! gave up now waiting for somthing to fall off.
was then looking for new tyres and some lil monkey has identified that you may need spacers !!!!!
PLEASE tell me this is not the case.. .....
i know ! all quiet in a straight line ,, and if you devieate from the line you get a rumble ,, feel so sad to ask but i gotta know for sure....

Pic of the wheels would be good to confirm they are D4 wheels, which are a straight fit.

M3DPO - but they V8 brakes are bigger? Maybe just the carriers are a different shape? Upgrading to V8 brakes from Advance Factors seems to provide a very cost effective solution and better brakes to boot
