Rich, you're in trouble.....
I knew it
Just remind Mrs. DS that all women have heavy footsteps when their angry 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

I'm in Pilling Land Rover as I compile this.
[having my 'A' Frame fitted as I wait]
By eck ... nobody told me they were that posh!!
Reckon it should be a RR or RRS dealer only.
Poss dosn't need the lowlife Disco, FL & Def owners!!
But service so far is excellent [poss cos I'm wearing my shirt n suit]. ...... always on the road less travelled 🚧
< ‘tis but a mere scratch …….. it’ll polish out.

Pilling Land Rover Dealer, Welwyn, Herts - Dealer Feedback. |
|
I bought my D3 HSE TDi at Chipperfield Land Rover but their service was nothing short of incompetent. So, for my D3’s second service I thought I would try Pilling;
Superficially, very professional and expensive. But, I thought if they get the job done quickly while addressing some warranty issues then they might have a new long-term customer.
On reflection, Not impressed;
* Warranty issues were not addressed and listed as “could not be replicatedâ€. These were real warranty problems that did not require a degree in Quantum\ Physics. Things would have been more effective if they had called me to discuss.
* The proverbial liquid-gold windscreen washer fluid was charged to the bill and somehow applied to a previously full reservoir.
* A charge (circa £10) was made to provide me with a 500ml Castrol Oil for topping-up between.
* The inclusive vehicle wash and vacuum was applied and appallingly finished
* The Piste de Résistance; using my personal mobile number (provided to cover/support the service activities) for unsolicited “great deals†text messages.
All-in-all; everything was rushed with minimal contact with the customer displaying no interest in getting things right first time – displaying all the ‘subversive’ untrustworthy behaviour of a late 80’s Vauxhall dealer. The Vauxhall dealers have moved-on but Pilling appears to be squeezing their clients in every way possible. I don’t mind paying for a job done write but this is just taking the ####.
