Advice on bubbling paint

Hi,

Rear wheel arches (the bit where the rubber seal rubs on the arch) and the drivers door below the rubbing strip near the front of the door have some slight bubbling. Very early days, but keen to catch it early rather than later.

Any particular tips, or just go to local preferred bodyshop?

Bit of a shame, have kept it waxed and kept it nice, but at 140K and the best part of 8 years, it's to be expected I guess.

Thinking that given the doors aren't aluminium it's not going to be too much bother?

Mmmmmm, interesting you should post this John.
I noticed recently a small area of paint above the front screen rubber had peeled off.
Area is tiny but I too like to keep things polished and clean but this area definitely appears that the top coat hasn't adhered fully. TBH I wasn't going to mention anything on here until I read your post and noticed your car is also Cairns Blue, the same as mine.
I bought a paint pen from E-Bay to touch up the area as I'm sure it will be ok but It would be interesting to learn if other Cairns Blue owners have noticed a similar prob.
