SIII Lightweight - neglected & rusting. Bulkhead, A panels, vent panel & outriggers now disintegrated - Next years project!

Brings back loads of memory's, been twice now, it was surprising the changes from the first year to the second!
Would love to do it again but Europe still has a lot to offer being heading back to N Africa.
The second year we went to see the ships on the beach, camped by them overnight and then headed south for a bit the next day and then managed to get best part of 50 or 60 miles done on the beach before heading inland to the Sahara itself.
I was the the main culprit for getting stuck, I was the only D3 in a party of 4, the other being 2 X Puma 110 and a TD5 110. But I had comfy seats, real air on and some Defender drivers to sort the recovery out when I was stuck
I'm sure I could lay my hands on our route if needed, I just followed both times but we had a great navigator on both trips.
