After more off roading yesterday, i have found a few weaknesses in my car that i would like the address.
Firstly being the underside, having rubbed the underside off some crests and rocks etc, i would like to get some proper protection so i don't damage anything.
What do you have fitted to your car?
Also, after properly trashing a side step, i really need some form of slider or such, but i still need them to be a side step to help get access etc to the car.
I know that asking for a slider and side step is a bit of a compromise but it's one i'm willing to make.
Again, what do you have fitted and have you tried it out/how has it saved you from damage?

I've got all the Devon 4x4 kit on my car for underbody protection, and then got the Britpart rock/tree sliders DA7533. They work just great as steps. Look in my gallery for some off the car photos.
Cheers

Thanks John.
Had a look and it seems very well made, i already have an RLD front guard fitted so would need to see how i could get some of the other stuff to fit in against that.
How do you like the Britpart sliders? Do you use them as side steps as well?

I don't think the RLD front guard will go back far enough to bolt to the gearbox guard. The Devon stuff bolts together, and if their winch bumper is fitted, the front guard bolts to that. Check out their website as they have some good under body photo's.
As for the sliders, my wife uses them as steps without an issue, but care needs to be taken, as they are round and could be slippery when wet. I never added the anti slip tape, so maybe that would help.
Cheers
