I'd try to get it for the discounted price and take your time fitting it yourself
Plenty of advice available here.

A little off thread but I remember what they tried to charge me for fitting a National Luna split charge.
I ended up buying a TMax system and fitting it myself. It made me realise how easy it was and left me feeling annoyed about being misled on the complexity and time to install.
I felt like they were trying to rip me off so I've not been back since. Let me know if you get the discounted price; I might revisit them and give them the benefit of the doubt.
The other option is to get a group buy going. There are a few of us on here that want swingaway carriers.

Thanks guys. Due to the cost of what I am being quoted. I am on the fence wether to go for a Roof Rack. There wouldn't be much in it and I would get more use out of the rack. When loaded up with gear I could have the spare on the rack. It does seem a lot of money for the 'just in case of a puncture'. They won't bring the price down and then when the Vat is added its £1440. So I may look towards the cheaper version that Devon 4x4 do and try fitting my self.
On the slight change of topic the rack that's getting the thumbs up is the Pro speed rack. I do like. 8)
Thanks for all your help and advice. With a few Mods.

This is my carrier fitted - its good to be able to 'close' the wheel and leave the top tailgate up for dog ventilation.

That one looks like it won't interfere with the reverse sensors ...Regards,

It's a big country carrier, It's an early version I understand but it's doing the job well and yes the sensors seem to be working fine. I think it looks ace too!
