I have Brittania through CSMA. Cost just under £80. Have D3 and Twin axle 7.95m tin tent. Had to be recovered in the UK at Easter when engine seized (at an eventual cost of £9,200!!!). Very impressed with service. They collected the car and caravan separately so they could be delivered to different locations. Admittedly this was a UK experience, but before I went to France last year I 'interrogated' them to ensure I was definitely covered (especially as twin axle) and they confirmed definitively that I would be fine.
I understand one of the problems you can be met with is repatriation of the Caravan with regards to the channel crossing. The exchange from French to British care can apparently be problematic. Just hope it never comes to that D3 HSE 06 with all the bells and whistles

Thanks guys for all the feedback - after due consideration, it would appear that I'm as well off using the Camping & Caravanning service. It's very similar (although not quite so comprehensive) as Red Pennant, and at a much reduced price.

Red pennant it's more costly than the competition, but you will know why if your motor lets you down, like mine did last summer in the south of France

Was going to book the Arrival1 package through the caravan and camping club. Its with the RAC, and they will also tow the trailer tent. Is this something anyone has used and can recommend.....??
