as per title.
off to inspect a seized engine today suspect its a rotating shell issue from the story I heard. It is better to have and not need it then need and not have it.

no Russel its not mine but a friends.
since seeing pictures of this kind of failure and now seeing them first hand I feel the shells are very narrow compared to other engines I have stripped.
new engine under warrenty.
then the guy will sell it asap..
cant do the drive train any favours when the engin e loccks then lets go...
early failure were put down to extended oil changes but I know this had the oil changed every 5k kms at the dealer...new excuse needed. It is better to have and not need it then need and not have it.
