And if 'someone' can show me what tool(s) they used to undo the top nut I'd be very grateful, because my new de-cat pipe is still sitting on my garage floor
I'm even considering removing the front prop to allow more space, but that just seems a bit extreme
Or . . . If anyone is prepared to fit the thing for me, for a few pre crimbo beer tokens I'm up for that too Never get mad - get even !!

Well today was the day, I decided to have a real go at fitting the de-cat pipe
Managed to get at the top turbo nut from under the N/S wheel arch (with the wheel removed) using a Irwin nut grip socket, a flexi end ratchet spanner and a 400mm length of 25mm dia tube on the spanner the nut freed easier than I was expecting, then it was just a case of undoing the nut one painful click on the ratchet at a time, so took ages.
The pipe to pipe coupling was a it of a to get to part, but once the old cat pipe was removed fitting the new de-cat one is bliss as you then have much more room to get the nuts back on the turbo and tighten
The car now sounds much nicer with a 'almost' V8 burble to the exhaust note, and the low end power and acceleration are much improved, also the mpg is up by 2-3 mpg, so I guess it will pay for itself (eventually)
Permagrin definitely back Never get mad - get even !!
