Martin would it be possible when replying to a PM to have the PM one is replying to visible. The same as posting on a thread. This would make things easier for people like myself that have memory problems and forget what we are doing.  In the Beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

2nd that idea.
I cut & paste the original PM into my reply & then (try to) remember to delet the original PM infor before sending it.

use two PC's (or Macs of course or one of each) side by side ...I do sometimes to get round this ageing problem  end of an era ....... maybe a Defender when it appears.......

I used to have two IE windows open (both logged in) but then I got confused over which window was the primary.....

You can press the "quote" button on the PM to see what you are replying to (and edit it before sending if necessary)

^^ as John said, you can press quote to get the original message onto the page, albeit in your reply box but you can delete the quote before sending it
