Was the oil temp sensor wiped out by bits of engine flying into the sump?

Erratic tac could be a bad connection - had a bad earth on an XJ-S once that caused similar behaviour

Front wishbones now fitted. Original ones had been rebushed about a year ago, so nothing was seized. 45 mins start to finish
Also a new set of front pads. While in bits, it was nice to see 2 new front wheel bearings
Transfer box and diff oils also done.
Awaiting a new oil temp sensor tomorrow, to see if it cures the running issues
And, before it was taken to bits, the front and rear PDC worked fine. After refitting, it now has 3 dead sensors My D3 Build Thread

Ask, and you shall receive
Oil temp sensor was fitted last night, runs like a dream
Rear brakes were stripped, EPB lubed and freed off, just incase
4 wheel alignment also done last night.
Fixed the rear PDC, but apparently the front are on back order, so they will have to wait
Air Con was regassed, and is bloody freezing!
Some of this was added, just for good measure:

SRS light is currently on, but there is a loose wire underneath the passenger seat. Will have that fixed this morning, and is booked in for an MOT at 4pm today
Jobs left to do are:
Refit front mudflaps
Clear sunroof drains, and dry out carpets
Bloody good wash and polish
Enjoy permagrin

I will be, at around quarter to 5
Have even left the undertrays and engine cover off so it can (hopefully) pass with no advisories
On another note, I found a few old invoices in the car...
In May 2011, it had around £1900 spent on it at Stratstone
In October 2012, it had over £2200 spent on it at my previous place of employment (It had a rear caliper, rear discs, pads + EPB shoes, cambelts, AMK compressor, and some other bits I can't remember)
And on top of that, someone had also replaced the rear upper arms, and rebushed the front lowers

You haven't hung about have you!
Looking good, have you replaced the parking sensor looms front/back? Are they pricy as I think I'll need to go the same route to solve mine.
