I've been looking at this thread, and having done 48k thought that I should join in, but haven't done.
If I had participated I would have had to withdraw as my top hose failed yesterday, and I had to buy one from Pete at full price.
I believe that it is generally accepted that the LR item fails prematurely, and if you haven't yet replaced it, you will have to do so before reaching NN k miles - that being so, go for the better quality alternative & join in this group buy - you know it makes sense.
