it will be a complete nightmare and very expensive.
you will need at lest
new wiring main wiring loom
new roof lining as the pipe are "paper mashed" into the lining
new c-pillars
aircon unit front HVAC and rear-roof
control panel
and a mass of pipes from front to rear.
several people bought bits of my rear aircon when I dismantled the D3 but I don't think anyone has bothered.
to be honest, I though it would miss it, but having just got back from Spain an 37 degress at times, the rear/boot area was about 17c when the front was 21c and when the car was left in the sun closed up, the front was around 45c and the boot 28c !!!
so ive come to the conclusion I don't need rear airconDuncan

was so good it was taken away by LR Marketing....(one may ask who the hell trains, chooses & appoints these guys...they not only "tell" us what we are to have but limit the choices as to what we actually get....they do it as a job we live, pay for & use the results)
OK there were / are issues i.e. the leaking "O" rings..that LR saw fit to not issue as spares instead they offered new pipes at 1000 times the cost
But the system in use is superb...it works & works well...very very well.....ensuring the rear seat occupants have the control if required
One version of the marketing spiel was "they" took it away as it interfered with rear seat entertainment systems,,,what a load of boolkocks...as if if you had the choice - one or the other.
I just wonder if & when LR will if ever admit to they have got wrong..very very wrong not in not issuing a fix for the owners with 45 thousand pound cars with issues but not supporting the product...the pipes that came off my car as being leaky are still in my possession - there isn't a touch of corrosion anywhere along the whole length of each pipe.
Its not supporting the product that makes existing users change to another brand, loses potential customers & reduces the potential of an otherwise superb vehicle......penny wise pound very foolish which the aforesaid marketing experts would have spreadsheets, graphs, survey data in abundance...but not the common sense (of old school business prowess) to realise the havoc they have done.
BREXIT - done properly.
Right now ...We need Government - not Politics
Save the Dipstick Flagbearer-keep it simple, less likely to fail campaign-agenda items:Starting Handles, Acetylene Lamps.

D3 HSE-perfectly formed, passenger friendly...has real DIPSTICK
Jag XK-but sadly no DIPSTICK...HUGE design fault
FL2 has DIPSTICK..."real comfort in rear seats"
VW Golf wondermobile (?)..has real DIPSTICK
Morris Minor..original DIPSTICK technology..and a real KEY.
