I thought discs all round were Brembo & pads all round were Ferodo, might not be wrong tho!

Discs are Brembo all round.
Calipers are TRW and they would have designed the steel backing for the pads, the original fit was Ferodo material onto the TRW design.
Brembo did not make brake pads apart from high performance or racing materials. A couple of years ago Brembo started to market own branded aftermarket brake pads in the UK but these were a mix of product by others in the box, no junk of course as they have their name to protect, many references were supplied by TMD Friction who have names like Mintex in the UK. Even where LR models have Brembo OE calipers they do not have Brembo made friction material on them. Last I heard (a year or so ago) Brembo were buying an existing friction material factory so things might change.
Most Brembo brake discs are now made in China and are still top quality.

LROEM CODE - SBD000604 (front disc) - BREMBO CODE 09.8873.30 FERODO CODE DDF1430
LROEM CODE - SDB000636 (rear disc) - BREMBO CODE 09.8874.30 FERODO CODE DDF1431
LROEM CODE - LR019618 (front pads) - BREMBO CODE P44014 FERODO CODE tbc
LROEM CODE - LR019627 (rear pads) - BREMBO CODE P44013 FERODO CODE FDB4432
LROEM CODE - SEM00024 (front wear sensor) - BREMBO CODE A00267 FERODO CODE FW1281
LROEM CODE - SOE000025 (rear wear sensor) - BREMBO CODE A00265 FERODO CODE FW1282
ONLY THING THAT MIGHT BE DIFFERENT IS THE WEAR SENSOR APPEARS TO HAVE CHANGED SLIGHTLY FROM MY 07/04 - 07/06 THEN NEW VERSION FOR VEHICLES 08/06> + SO CHECK THE MANUFACTURERS WEBSITE TO BE SURE

OK, but the thread concerns OEM LR SPEC disc/pads as supplied by yer LR dealer rather than "aftermarket" non OEMLR

A word of caution.
The pads supplied to Landrover by Ferodo etc, are not the same pads that you would buy via your local factor in a Ferodo box. They are different spec, I have bought both & checked it out. I have not seen Brembo marked pads, other than RRS.
If you want Landrover spec pads, I think Landrover seems the only choice, regardless of what the Ferodo rep told me!
Also the Brembo discs, I have yet to see any discs the same spec (with grey paint on etc) ads the Landrover ones.
Regards
Steve

As the part numbers given above are not the exact OEM equivalent (although perfectly serviceable), but rather a cross-reference, I have updated the thread title accordingly. 06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti
Any issues with the site let me know!

character,
I bought some Britpart discs for my D3 a few years ago - 1 came in a britpart box, the other came in a landrover OEM box - both parts were identical.
since then always used Britpart Discs and they have been fine. Duncan

Britpart discs used to have their issues. Dont know if they have been resolved, but I had issues on 3 different cars.
Moved to Bearmach, who supply Ferodo + Delphi discs, and never had an issue since My D3 Build Thread

Whats the difference here between the DDF1431 and the DDF1430. I see on the Tech data tab that the thicknesses are different and the diameter also. However both are for use on the D3 2.7. Is the 1430 harder wearing due to its thickness or am I just being thick.
If you look at the pads also on this site there are seemingly different qualities from the same brand -FERODO - for the same vehicle.
Thanks
