Sorry but the sinking seat again.

Does anyone know if this has been resolved. My last dealer had not heard of a fix, whilst my new dealer claims that LR have released a memo telling drivers how to get into the seat without touching the lever. I'm not kidding, he was serious.

Bloody annoying on a £30k odd car, especially as they seem unwilling to sort it.

Summary: A customer may report a concern that over long journeys, the seat requires re-adjustment to maintain the desired height, or that when left unattended for long periods the seat height adjustment requires lowering.

Cause: A tolerance issue within the height adjustment mechanism can lead to height adjustment slippage.

Action: Should a customer express concern regarding the above, refer to the Service Procedure detailed in this bulletin.

Go quote that at your dealer

The fix will 'fix' the sinking issue... but will not fix the problem when exiting the D3 and yer bum pushes the lever down. The lever will also be stiffer but not stiff enough to stop yer bum catching it.

There was a ruder version of that last line but its not 9 o'clock yet so I decided against it Whistle
