Have you tried to raise or lower it when this message comes on?
Just to check if it is actually a compresser issue or just a general error message glitch.

also - Full tank of fuel and only 245miles to empty ???? Shocked

Had that on my last D4 (MY2011) and took it into the dealers and they just replaced the compressor which seemed to fix it Thumbs Up

I had just the same problem - and the same cure! It only took them the morning to find and fix the problem, so I guess it is a well known issue.

I wonder if the new compressor will give up as easily as the old one if it is worked hard? When I was in Morocco we had a series of fast smooth sandy stretches interspersed with rocky tracks. I needed off-road height for the tracks, but as soon as I exceeded 30mph on the smooth the suspension dropped to normal height. After a while the compressor just gave up (overheating) and would not budge from normal height.
