Car forgets the change from MPH to KPH overnight |
|
I change the fuel/speed units from MPG to KPH in the menu, but it seems to not remember the change after the ignition has been off overnight.
Is there a software change for this or is that how it is? On the RR Sport it seems to keep the setting fine.

The car is a 2010 D4.
No I am pretty sure that the battery is OK, really want to know if anyone else had same issue as it is a pain to come out every morning when you are in Europe to have to change it again.
I am hoping that someone else who takes their car to Europe was having the same issue.

If it's still under the new car warranty I would dump the problem on your LR dealer, & ask for a free pre-MoT check.

The Dealer is a long way away and I would really like to find out if is a feature common to the model or is indeed a fault.
Hoping someone who uses the feature can report back or a longshot that someone can change it and see if it reverts back after a few hours switched off?

Clearly, you have the Jeremy Clakson option set in your system options...

Thanks moles and stick, looks like it is a fault then or maybe needs a software upgrade.

Hi,
there was a service bulletin LTB00286 in 2010 regarding this problem. The initialization process of the navi will be changed.
