Auto-dimming rear mirror
Anyone removed the fuse to kill the auto-dimming function on the overhead mirror?? I find it really annoying as all you see are headlights, not the shape of the Police FFRR that was sitting on my tail in the 40 zone where the M6 meets the M5 (luckily stuck CC on at 40!!). It looses too much detail, if the lights are brght behind I'll squint. Am I the only one that find this???
I'm with you on this one; it dims far too much, to the point where you lose awareness of what is going on behind you. With a normal dipped mirror you still notice if something flashes or moves suddenly, something the auto-dim fails to do.I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

Ive had limo tints fitted so this takes out the glare anyway. The biggest problem I find is the centre head rest. At a certain distance I cant even see the car behind as it obsures the entire viewDuncan

Thought of that but it would look a bit messy. I need some part of my car to look as it should!
Took the rear headrests out on day 1, one less thing for the dog slobber to hit when they have a good old shakedown in the back!

I have seen a D3 with the centre seat pulled down a bit (as if it is folded) so that gives you a couple of inches extra........obviously if someone is still sitting in it tehy need short legs end of an era ....... maybe a Defender when it appears.......
