Need heated wheel and relevant switch pack. Your d4 almost certainly will have the right clock spring, so a pretty straight forward swap Bodsys Brake Bible

You may be wrong there Bodsy
Allthough all documentation showes only the heated clockspring was available now from LR ...it apears not
iv had 3 people check there D4's for correct clocksprings and they are not of the heated version .
Even Ents 2010 D4 didnt have the correct clockspring .
I would suggest taking the airbag off and checking for the correct clockspring before you buy the bits .
On a positive note ...the wiring is in the car ..just needs plugging in the clockspring ( when you get the right one )G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

The other ones youve seen Wiggs without the heated connector, are they all 2010? pretty sure there's only one clock spring listed for the D4 now, so 2012 should be OK. Guess we'll find out when he takes the airbag off Bodsys Brake Bible

And that was mine
Still hunting for a clock spring with the extra plug for the heated wheel. And the missing balance weight Wiggs, well I've been told it doesn't need it?

I have a heated wheel from a 2011 RRS waiting to be used in my D3. Meanwhile I am almost ready to order a D4. Just to be sure that I am not making a mistake how can I check that on my steering wheel the heating core is working Hedgehog

The heated steering wheel costs about 180 GBP. How much would retrofitting cost? Is it worth it or is it better to order with heated steering wheel if I place an order now? Thanks.

If you want to know if the heating element is working either check the resistance with a DMM or connect 12Volts to the connector and see if it gets warm.
