Good point well made... still disappointing on a car with a list price of £61000 that there is a big plastic box with blanking caps in the middle of the roof that serves no purpose.:
We do get the read AC with controls for rear passengers, but pay £70000 and miss out on the FBH (although a second battery fit in that space nicely), heated washers.

I've noticed other cost cutting changes from 2012 to 2013 as well. I'm looking to switch my '12 for a '13, very similar spec, but I see that if I want grand black lacquer (which I do) then it will now cost me £200. The other standard feature from a '12 that now costs on a '13 is timed heating.
Basically, there is no difference as far as I can tell between a '12 and a '13, apart from having to pay extra for options that used to be standard.
That really is a poor show Land Rover.Disco 4 2012 HSE 3.0 SDV6, Santorini black, Ebony leather, privacy, 20" 5 spoke alloys, tow bar

"Timed heating" is standard on a 2013 HSE...and Grand black has been an option in the past under the D3 before becoming standard now it's an option again...although I didn't pay for it I just got the dealer to throw it in as part of the deal. Just they way the word goes around 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

Timed heating is standard but reading the manual it showed how to do it with the remote control.. However the remote does not come with it! That apparently is an option at £320!!
Typically i missed it and now it can be retrofitted at £589! The dealer stated he could do it for £493. So much for the options list!!

I can't make allowances for buyers and dealers who can't read However, if you ask our lovely sponsors it can be retrofitted for a better price than that. 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021
