I had the "rough" running problem and was fobbed off many times by the Dealer. Symptoms were mainly NVH through the steering wheel, armrest and sometimes the seat. On a cold morning it would judder at start up but
The problems started at around the first anniversary - just after the first service. The Dealer then did a number of things to resolve my complaints - clipped loose cables, updated the gearbox and engine management software etc but nothing made the NVH get any better.
A new service manager (ex VW Audi) heard the engine and said he was sure it was faulty ... He got one of the the Land Rover tech guys down from the factory to take a look who told us that all was fine - the NVH was a "feature"of the vehicle ... He fired up another D4 and it vibrated worse than mine
I had the vehicle's second service over at Guy Salmon Aylesford and they seem to have cured my problems. Not sure what they did - maybe just some TLC and also found a loose undershield, a wobbly centre console (with a stripped bolt ...) and incorrect adjustment on the bonnet bump stops. It seems these things were causing a resonance through the cabin. It now drives like it used to and it is a pleasure once again.
Just shows a good Dealer is worth its weight in gold. A bad one can make you choose another brand

After arguing with dealer that they where not taking my issue seriously they went fro a test drive with me. They denied anything was wrong with the car. Then they took the car away in the garage and came out after 30 nminutes and said they have fixed the problem. I took the car for a drive and 'YES' they had fixed it.
I asked what was wrong and the service manager said it was something to do with the Park brakes not applying when stationary and was causing car vibrate heavier. I personally think he did not know what was really the problem and flobbed me off with a story. I think they put it on their diagnostice and it told them what to fix.
I am a little happier.
