Most 'economic' diagnostic tool
Hi guys, I am interested in purchasing a diagnostic tool to try and solve my limp mode woes.
Without breaking the bank, whats the best tool i can purchase to help me with identifying any fault codes on my D4?
Cheers
I'd recommend the IIDTool from GAP Diagnostic. Plenty of info on here and the FFRR forum about how good it is.____

Surely the 'most economic' tool is a borrowed tool
The tools (or most of them) are keyed to the VIN. Unlocked pro tools are usually in the hands of folk who offer the service for a fee...
The IIDTool is locked. You can get the VIN swapped for a small charge if you buy a used one. They're £275 from Island 4x4____
