Thanks muchly - just what I was looking for. Are there other "secret" options that the dealer has control over?

Not all the options on there are applicable to some models and there is bound to be regional variations too but it gives you a starting point
Don't know about secret options but if there's something else you'd like just ask the dealer if it's possible, if they say no then come and ask us and we'll tell you if they're telling porkies or not Wink

What about the "follow me home lights" can be programmed to turn on for various amount of time when you turn off the ignition and remove the key when the Auto lights are on.

Oooh, I know this one. Key in ignition, message centre lit up but engine off, use your indicator stalk button and scroll through until you get come to a settings screen, which has a picture of your steering wheel control buttons. Use your steering wheel >> and << buttons to scroll through the programmable options and + / - to change the option values. The Follow Me Home can be set from 30 to 240 seconds. I've programmed the LR button on the keys to switch lights on and off so have set a longish delay and can turn them off remotely when I no longer need them.

Ahh, but that's the point of the question - what's not user-modifiable but can be set by the dealer?

PDES Try going to the owners section of the Land Rover web site and get into the D3 07 MY owners handbook - there is a list there under "information displays". The following link should get you there.

Guys, thanks for the pointers but it is the un-published, non-user configurable options I am trying to get to. There may be none, in which case that's fine but, with the D2 there were (I think) some 40 options that the customer would not necessarily be aware of. Some were other market facilities but which could be turned on by the dealer if you just asked.

Fraid not. I always deferred to the Disco2 Forum. The list was in there. Ther forum seems to have been suspended. The only one I can remember, because I had it set up, was drive away locking.

Sorry! Crying or Very sad
