Sighing car
Another thing I've noticed is that the car occasionaly makes a noise like a pneumatic release of some sort when I unlock and open the doors. This can happen hours after I the car has been parked.
But its not a sound from the doors, it seems to come from under the car.
I like to think that the car is sighing with relief when it sees me coming for a drive after a night parked up, but could there be another explanation?D3 Bonatti Grey TDV6

Mine does the same, I believe this is the air suspension doing a bit of self levelling. Probably worrrying about my big bulk putting it off balance
It wakes itself up every now and then and self levels if necessary. Locking or unlocking the doors when the engine's off also prompts it.
Search the forum for 'fart' and you'll see more details

Did you also know that if you walk up to your Discovery after it has been parked for several hours, and just press the boot release, without even unlocking the car, this will also prompt a small release of wind

Its just waking up from a sleep.
When you unlock with the clicker or open a door it knows its getting ready to go for a ride and the systems begin to wake up. If you have the NAV it lights up before you get into the seat! Cool.Wa Hoo
