My dad had a similar thing with his hands, tried all sorts of creams from Docs, found farmers Udder Cream worked best though
He was told to use latex gloves to protect his hands too, then eventually they found it was the latex that was causing it

Used Greased Lightening for a while now, does a great job on the bodywork and is good for the windows.
Take mine with me as i usually have to clean the front of the tintent when i get to site, fetches bugs off so easily.

I was doubtful about GL before I first used it but it is really good stuff and it is safe to use on caravan windows. It's best to wash the van before you first use it and you need quite a lot on this first application, and you need a few big microfibre cloths to do it. However, once that lovely wax finish is on you don't need much to maintain it. I use just water to clean the mud off my van now and finish off with just a little GL where the muck and insect squash persists, and dry off with a big microfibre towel. I don't use Fenwicks or any other shampoo anymore because I don't want to remove my expensive wax coating.

Fenwick caravan cleaner for me with and extendable brush the spray on their Bobby Dazler and it looks a treat..... That said as soon as you take it on the road one of the first jobs to do when on site is to wash it again

There are lots of great products for removing black streaks from your caravan, but prevention is better than cure.
I recommend giving the caravan roof a really good clean, polish & waxing (as well as the rest of the van). Dirt easily collects on the roof and goes un-noticed. When it rains the dirt finds its way down the sides of the caravan and into the awning rail and window seals. This is usually where the dreaded black streaks come from. If you wax the roof then its much easier to clean the dirt off.
Autoglym do a good vinyl/rubber cleaning product that I use on my window rubbers. I also use a suitable sized bristle brush inside the awning rail. For washing I use a telescopic Vikan water fed pole/brush. It has really soft bristles which wont scratch the caravan. I use an aluminium ladder with pipe lagging taped around the top to prevent marking the van..

My Greased Lightning arrived from ROYS off Fleabay today. Tintent getting a right going over this weekend £24.99 for 2 litres delivered. He doesn't ask for much........But gives a lot.

Now then, I like a bit of car detailing now and again. Last summer I had an overwhelming urge to clay bar the van. Suffice to say, I managed the front, back and half of one side before I got thoroughly bored. Did come up like new though!!!
Can't shift the green algae stuff that collects at the end of gutters etc. Reluctant to try anything too strong in case I melt something.Welcome "Lola"

I found that Greased Lightning shifted the green growth a treat.
Once applied, I find any black steaks on the van wipe off a treat if I use a microfibre cloth with a bit of GL on.Man with no D3 anymore, but cant leave the forum....how sad.

You don't need to use a lot either. Got to say, well impressed. He doesn't ask for much........But gives a lot.
